The proposal replaces a disused works building in an established residential area with seven contemporary terraced houses and fourteen apartments. All dwellings are designed to lifetime homes standards and two are specifically for wheelchair users. The houses feature passive solar heating and ventilation with south facing sun rooms and gardens.
