Stanford Avenue, Brighton

Connecting a south facing garden to interior living spaces is the aim of this contemporary remodelling of a detached Victorian villa in the Preston Park Conservation Area of Brighton. At the rear of the house the floor level has been lowered and transparent extensions added to create a light and airy open plan kitchen and family room. The existing living room and a new raised study area view the garden through the new double height spaces.
