Outline and Reserved Matters Planning Applications for 82 new dwellings on part of the Glebe land, an allocated site on the edge of the village centre. The design responds to the urban grain and built form of the historic village centre area by establishing a street layout defined by broad frontage plots with driveways under buildings to rear yards. A site specific architectural language has been developed with a strong relationship to the site context. A sense of local distinctiveness is created through the selection of fenestration patterns, materials, detailing and roof forms.
